September 27, 2026 (Sunday) – Garmin Gdańsk Half Marathon 2026 – 21.0975 km of excitement, competition, and unforgettable views – it's become a tradition that Gdańsk becomes the venue for a great running festival! The start and finish line will be located at the Polsat Plus Arena in Gdańsk, giving the event a unique atmosphere.
The main event will be the Garmin Gdańsk Half Marathon, now in its 13th year. The race, covering over 21 km, will traditionally take place on Sunday at 10:00 AM, and competitors will cover a course full of sporting excitement, beautiful urban landscapes, and a unique atmosphere created by competitors and fans.
A significant aspect of the event is the high financial prizes, which always generate great excitement among competitors and fans. One of the biggest draws of the Garmin Gdańsk Half Marathon is the bonus for breaking the Polish half marathon record. To date, the fastest Polish runners have been Krystian Zalewski, clocking 1:01:32, and Karolina Nadolska, clocking 1:09:18. Polish runners who break these barriers and set a new national record during the 2026 Garmin Gdańsk Half Marathon will receive PLN 100,000 if the record is broken by one runner (male or female), or PLN 50,000 each if both men and women break the Polish record.
The Garmin Gdańsk Half Marathon is more than just a 21-kilometer race. On Saturday evening, the day before the half marathon, participants will have the opportunity to compete in a new event – the Night Five. The route will lead through the illuminated streets of Gdańsk, and the atmosphere of the run after dark is more than just a 5-kilometer competition; it also combines sport with the atmosphere of the city at night.
Registration starts on February 3, 2026 at www.polmaratongdansk.pl.
